Bylaw Change and Proposed Legislation 1 Good Morning Matt and Chad, hope you and your family had a great Christmas. Proposed legislation for 2025: Some of these may have been addressed in the past so maybe talking points to try and gain some traction this year. They may also be dead in the water. Air Time / purchase time: We do acknowledge veterans/ military time that can be bought and added to service years of credit. Proposed Airtime years of service (some other retirement systems have this option in place for members). Drop/Retirement Option : the opportunity to recalculate the benefit if member has remarried. PTSD : is it per incident/injury/disorder ? 3yr drop: to increase to 5year C&BL Changes Legal assistance : Was there language about having to belong to the PFFA for 1 year before any legal assistance could be applied for and voted upon by the E-Board? If so, drop the 1-yr language. No Local left behind : apply or be considered for assistance to any PFFA Function (maybe drop the language for 1st year Convention / Educational Seminar). At any time any Local can apply for any event and be voted upon by the PFFA E-board. Any questions please call. These were just a few ideas brought up this past year to be discussed.
